Christmas Decorations : for Londoners, Country Bumpkins & Disney Lovers

This weekend we put up our first ever Christmas tree in our own home. We are still currently in the process of adding to it, but the living room looks very spruced up & having a real Christmas tree, the smell is divine!
Today I thought I'd share some of my favourite decorations for this year...

For Londoners …
✰ Visit Liberty of London & pick up a bauble & Robin.
✰ Hail a London taxi.
✰ Say hi to the guards at Buckingham Palace.
✰ Fly the flag on the tree.
✰ See Trafalgar Square.
✰ Go extravagant with this Harrods Swarovski Elements Hand Decorated Bauble Set
✰ Hang a Corgi  on the tree this Christmas.
✰ Buy a metallic London themed set from Bombki

Country Bumpkins
✰ This Wooden Bird House decoration looks too good to be on the Christmas tree … it looks like it would fit into any cottage garden.
✰ Tartans and checks are what its all about this year for me, and these tartan baubles are one of the centrepieces of my tree this year.
✰ Hold all your festive candles in this Christmas tealight holder also from Asda.
✰ We've tried to create a little woodland scene by our fireplace, and we brought this hedgehog & this reindeer to add to it.
✰ My best decorating advice for a country cottage feel to any home would be to use as many natural materials as possible: out walking I've picked up fresh holly, berries & twigs. We've taken cuttings off the Christmas tree (especially the back as no one will see it!) to use as part of craft projects, & to decorate the house with. For fake alternatives, Wilkinsons & Hobbycraft have a wide range this Christmas.

Wall E ornament brought last year on eBay.

Disney
✰ I've been collecting Disney Traditions ornaments for just over a year now, and this year I'm hoping to add to my collection Frozen's Sisters Forever & this Mickey & Minnie Figurine.
✰ Favourites from the Disney Sketchbook collection include Snow White, The Nightmare before Christmas & Lady & The Tramp.
✰ The adorable Chip n Dale Tree Decoration.
✰ Have some chiming bells in your home with the Disneyland Paris Mickey & Minnie Wind Chime.
✰ For collectors Disney enthusiasts, search on eBay & other sites for Grolier Disney Ornaments. There is a huge range of designs Grolier has completed. I've already purchased 101 Dalmations & Jiminy Cricket, and I have my eye on getting Minnie Mouse, Snow White, Peter Pan & The Little Mermaid over the next week.

On Sunday I'll be sharing my Christmas transformed house (literally every room is having a festive make over!)
How are you decorating your tree/house this year?

    1. I feel the same to be honest ... it is a mixture of 'want a quaint country house' and 'my tree should resemble disneyland paris' ! x
