The Darling Buds of May; Glitterati May Box from Crown & Glory

This month's Crown & Glory Glitterati box was themed 'The Darling Buds of May' and it is by far my most favourite box! Not that I've mentioned it a thousand times already, but I'm very much obsessed with the 1970s trend right now, so a box full of flowers and orange tones above, was quite a treat! First up, the butterfly and blossom crown... I am so in love with the colour of this crown! The brown base to the crown, means the orange does not just blend in with my newly auburn locks too!
Next up, the tea rose headband ... the colours are bright pastels, and perfect for the upcoming summer months. At first I wasn't sure whether this band would suit me, but the flowers are a small/medium size (unlike my huge meadow blossom crown!) and suit a range of hairstyles... my current favourite is up with my ponytail.
The blossom print bow headband is another favourite from this box... from the February Glitterati Box I absolutely loved the heart print headband which is exactly the same style as this blossom headband. In addition, I now have the polka headband which I lusted after for ages, and ended up getting as a swap for an unwanted headpiece (perks of being a Glitterati member!) These are so perfect to wear and spruce up 'everyday' hair... I have so much Crown and Glory now that I'm trying to wear a piece a day including to work, so the headbands fit my high ponytails everyday.
Another Glitterati favourite at the moment is the slides and hair pins, and after being bee crazy over on the blog the other month, I did get quite excited finding the bumble bee hair pins!
& last of all the peony hairclip... I'm yet to have a go at styling this piece, but I can already envision pin up curls to match a perfect vintage hair do.

If you are not a member, but would love to be, you can sign up for The Glitterati here. (and if you want to, pop my name in the referral box, and we'd both get a £10 voucher!). The box is £23.95 monthly, but I was discussing with another Glitterati member recently, it is so much more than just a box of hair accessories, as there is the Facebook group and community who are absolutely amazing alongside the swap shop, exclusive events (hello Glitterati party this month!) and other fun bits too such as the Spring Secret Santa (which completely turned around the worst day of my month!). I've been a subscriber since January, and I have not been disappointed!

This box has especially got me excited for the future summer months! If you're a glitterati member, I'd love to see what you received in your boxes this May! What is your favourite piece from the box?
