Barkbeats Box for Cece

The lovely team over at Barkbeats sent over some blogger mail for Cece last week! I love receiving mail, especially boxes to review, and so to get a box for my pup was very exciting ... as you can see by the above photos... Cece knew that box was for her!

The Barkbeats box was the June edition and this is what was inside...
A Bowl Squeeze from Georplast ... I already have one of these for Cece but I love the colour of this, and these are always handy to have when going on long walks or taking Cece to the beach!
Skinneeez have a wide range of animal toys, and we received an Owl to play with ... Cece loves the owl nearly as much as she loves her penguin & Freddo toy!!
We also received a Petuky Ham Bone which I am glad of, as we've never bought Cece a bone, and this is 100% natural.
It's the summer, so an ice cream definitely would not go a miss! And this Cookie Ice Cream by Hov Hov Bakery looks delicious (but is not chocolate, but deer meet, eggs and olive oil - sounds good for a dog though!) Their website basically looks like a dog bakery dream!!
These Mollys Tomato treats smelt like a spaghetti bolognese pasta and Cece loves them!
I feel after receiving this doggy herbal tea, me and Cece can be right on par together!

A huge thank you to Barkbeats for sending over a box for Cece ... she's loved all her gifts and I enjoyed opening them!

The Hop Shop, Lavender & Castle Farm

When I was exploring shoreham last weekend, I finally stumbled across The Hop Shop; fields of lavender and hops surrounded The Hop Shop, alongside seating areas, guided tours and a lovely little shop!

In the shop you could buy everything from fresh food, frozen food (including frozen baked goods such as croissants!), lavender themed EVERYTHING from tea, beauty, food and floral goods, gifts and home furnishings. Here is a little peek into what I spent (which came ot a not so whopping £24!)

A bunch of lavender cost £3 - 5 ... I brought the £3 bunch and honestly there was SO MUCH lavender in it... after buying a small bunch of Whitstable Lavender last year and it filling 1 vase (that is still going strong now!) ... the Hop Shop bunch has filled two large kilner jars, the Gisella Graham vase that I brought above, and two mini vases so is ultimate good value for money! The farm's apple juice is a definite must buy which comes in a variety of sizes, and I'm a tad gutted I didn't stock up! We brought some cheese and ham as well as salsa which we tested out in the shop and fell in love with the taste! I brought a little lavender bag for 80p to stick in my wardrobe and 3 lavender tea bags for £1 from a pick and mix selection including morning boost & peppermint. I also brought some lavender fudge for £2.15

I'll definitely be going back, especially to go on a tour of the lavender fields... if you want to go this year, their Facebook says they are coming to an end this weekend!  You can shop online too (which I am overjoyed by!) ... I'm feeling an autumn visit is on the cards when pumpkins will be there too!

Brand Spotlight; #BigBloggerExpo

If you read yesterday's post you may have seen the wide range of brands that were exhibiting at the #BigBloggerExpo. The event was set up for bloggers to network with other bloggers and brands and was a repeat of the year before's #BigBloggerExpo afternoon session. Today I thought I'd share the goodie bag & gifts received from brands ...
West Lab Salts were exhibiting on the day, and in the goodie bag, was a bag of Epsom Salts ... I've already used West Lab before as mentioned yesterday (always buying the extra large bags from Boots!) so I'm glad to have another bag to add to my collection!

Heaven by Deborah Mitchell skincare were gifting moisturisers, SOS kits, face wash and foundation (in a wide range of shades, I got English Rose). I also received a full size pot of Divine Cream, which I'm going to be trialing on my scars from where I have had skin tags previously (expect a follow up post there!) All the pots are now in my pink marble bathroom ... so fit my colour scheme quite nicely!

There was a full size Calypso Hair Protection ... which I am definitely looking forward to using over the next month.
And speaking of hair protection... the hair mini's from Living Proof (which I'm definitely not ordering full sizes of today *ahem*!) ... the humidity shield spray has to be my favourite product from the day! My hair is thankful and I keep using the hair/sassy emoji when talking to everyone about it!

Brandbassador goodies were fab ... although the hat's already been claimed by a family member to wear! I love love love the phone stand (useful for me and my Gossip Girl addiction at the moment!)
Jewellery Box gave us a little cute packaged box for us to open.... in mine was a gorgeous heart necklace!  I absolutely love their jewellery... on the website they have so much choice from different metals, styles, stones and jewellery from under £5!

Jody Bell gave us a little gift bag from their stand which had a Jody Bell pen and a luggage tag. I am so pleased with this gorgeous blue colour! I'm thinking of pairing it with my black Kate Spade bag to add a pop colour to it!

#BigBloggerExpo

Yesterday I had the pleasure of going to my first LDN Meet Up Event #BigBloggerExpo. After seeing all the past events being reviewed across some of my favourite bloggers, when the e-mail went out for #BigBloggerExpo I knew I needed to go! I was quite nervous about attending the event... mainly as I hadn't been to a big event for a while, but lots of other bloggers were chatting about the event on Twitter which had put me at ease, but better than that, meeting JadeNatChelseyHilda & other bloggers all looking for the event, then walking around with them throughout the event. The event was held at the Danubius Hotel in Regents Park; I arrived early so explored the area & spotted Abbey Road too!
The first stand we visited was Dr Paw Paw ... I personally have never used Dr Paw Paw products before, but I was sold the moment I smelt their products, especially the the 7 in 1 treatment styler which smelt amazing and targets SEVEN areas! Multi-tasking - check!
Then we went to Living Proof ... Jade had already said they were good... and oh my gosh I am sold on their products! I suffer from 'Monica from Friends humidity hair' on a daily basis... I'll straighten my hair using styling and heat protection products, spray with hairspray, and leave the house looking sleek to find 10 minutes later my hair is frizzy...... the lovely lady telling us about Living Proof offered to spray the humidity shield spray on my hair. She sprayed half then showed me the difference between each side of my hair and I was in awe of the effect it had on my hair! And my hair stayed sleek, not greasy for the whole event! One of the first things I searched upon opening my laptop when I got home was the Living Proof range!
We then spoke to 4 You by You looking at the different products that were on offer, and indulging on far too many hairdo!
Next was Heaven Skincare by Deborah Mitchell. The lovely Carla talked us through all of the products, alongside her mother who was there helping her, and their uses on different skin tones. We got to take away a lovely selection of products to trial (which will be coming up in the Brand Spotlight post tomorrow, alongside an individual review!) alongside being given a full size tub of Divine Cream as I spoke to Carla about my acne/scars from skin tags and she was so lovely and gave me a tub to try which I can't wait to see the results! They are on the look out at the moment for 21 year old bloggers, as the brand is 21 this year!
In the corner was a bright stand for Jody Bell ... Jody had a wonderful team who all chatted to us, found out our favourite products, and you could even try on the selection of dresses and jumpsuits (we loved the jumpsuit in white or black with flared arms!). I loved speaking to Jody, and have found the Jody Bell blog alongside the Facebook page which I'm glued to (hello Nicole Sherzinger and Jody together on the Facebook page!) and cannot wait to see updates from when Jody Bell are at New York Fashion Week!

Borough Box was next, and had the most amazing stand full of brilliant food from a variety of brands. There were testers on the table, for breads, honey and oils (I fell in love with the Wild Forest Honey!) They literally have so much to offer, and after browsing their website last night, I think Christmas could be sorted for gifts quite easily!
Jewellery Box.co.uk had the most gorgeous display ... I wish my jewellery was displayed like that! They had a wide range of jewellery on show, my favourite had to be the rose gold rings!
Pure sunglasses envy from Two Three ... selfies a plenty were taken in these!
Bonnie Boo Gifts launched yesterday! Their stand was full of fantastic, beautiful and practical gifts for presents for newborns and baby showers. I fell in love with the bunny and the Jeffrey Giraffe Gift Set!
We then visited West Lab Salts ; I already love love love West Lab and use them all the time as long as the bags aren't sold out at Boots! It was fab talking to them about different products that I've not had a chance to try yet.
On our way into the expo, we spotted Stevie from Made in Chelsea..... and he was at the hotel talking to bloggers about Brandbassador ... if you follow me over on Snapchat (wildflowerhq) you may see a snap of him speaking about the concept!

Last we spoke to Juvadent about botox & fillers. We also took a selfie against their fabulously propped selfie wall (I chose heart sunnnies to pose in!)

At the end, Lauren drew the raffle winners, and announced the next event, a ball in aid for Help for Heroes, which I thought was a fantastic idea for an event! A huge thanks to her and the rest of the LDN Meet Up team, and to all the exhibitors, as I had such a lovely time meeting loads of new blogger friends and brands.

If you went to the event, leave me the link in the comments as I love reading other people's reviews and posts about events!

p.s. Full Brand Spotlight post coming tomorrow going through the goodie bag and freebies!
