An Evening with Hotter Maidstone

Last week, I was invited by Hotter to join them at their blogger's evening in Maidstone. In all my time blogging, I've never ever heard of a blogger event being in Kent so I was so excited to finally be going to one local to me!
The event was organised by the lovely PR team consisting of Mel & Jenni. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a glass of prosecco (I had my favourite Bucks Fizz!) & lots of scrummy treats from Marks & Spencers including cream cakes! Then, we sat around whilst Mel gave a talk about the history of Hotter, the concepts behind Hotter & chatted about current trends and A/W trends (Metallics could be making a comeback!) One thing I particularly loved learning was that the whole company is based in Lancashire, and the whole company is based there from production to customer services to international sales! They even had in frames, photographs of the Beaconsfield Footwear factory from 1959 where it all started! After that, we got to browse the store, in search for our #HotterMoment ; the staff were brilliant helping us find shoes and styles that we love - The Maidstone team were in the middle of launching a sale ready for the next day too, where the Mayor would be visiting, so were super busy but so attentive and helpful! There were so many bargains to be had in their sale, which is now still on (I'm seriously eyeing up the Nova bag in both colours ... dusky pink photographed above, aqua discovered whilst browsing and lusting after more shoes and bags on the website!)
Whilst there I got chatting to lots of other lovely bloggers; I sat next to Kate during the talk, who blogs over at WitWitWoo and we spoke about blogging, and she gave me loads of useful blogging tips! Then I started chatting to Hannah from Hannah and the Minibeasts and Tracy from Mum in Meltdown as we picked out a pair of Hotter shoes ... Tracy picked out the Viviene Heels ... then I fell in love with them too so we got the same ones! We chatted about blogger events and lack of blogger events in Kent! I think a Kent Blogging page needs to be made!
I had such a lovely evening, and cannot wait to wear my Viviene heels (I'm saving them for taking my new class next week, so keep your eyes peeled over here for a little outfit post and I may have purchased a certain bag by then to go with it!) so thank you very much Mel, Jenni & the rest of the Hotter Maidstone team!
I also have 5 £10 vouchers to give away, so if you would like one, drop me your e-mail address in the comments and I'll e-mail you!

    1. I'm not the biggest pastry fan... but I had the heart shaped one, and it was gorgeous! They had lovely pumps, especially mint colours! x
