Boots Christmas Shopping '16

Every year, when the Boots Christmas catalogue comes out, me & my family quickly take advantage of Boots points, app offers and in store offers and go for a huge Boots Christmas haul (see previous years here). This year was no different, so we went into store and had a browse around picking up some festive gifts. I was so impressed with presentation of the gifts this year along with the wide variety! Most brands were on 3 for 2 which helps with the overall cost of Christmas. I thought I'd do  things a little differently to previous years, and write a quick overview of brands and goods to look out for, for a range of categories.

Women's Bath & Body: The women's sets have upped their game again this year. As I was walking around, I nearly ended up with something from every brand. Soap & Glory as always have a huge range of quirky fun gifts all in the fab pink packaging. The entire Champneys range is gorgeous, and if I didn't still have leftovers from last year, it would be on my Christmas list for this year. Ted Baker is also another great range again, including beauty and bath. Joules have brought their quirky packaging, and I love how it changes slightly every year... I ended up with the bath fizzers as one of my free gifts (easy choice really!) Beauticology always have a wonderful festive selection ... my personal favourite is the foot gift set with the red and white stripy socks!

Women's Beauty: No7 have a brilliant beauty range, all Christmas party themed and on 3 for 2. I also love the Liz Earle gift sets, sadly not on 3 for 2 but come beautifully packaged, and I'd still say they are good value for money... I have my eyes on the Bright Eyes gift set!

Men's Grooming: I love the Ted Baker gift sets this year, and they range from as little as £8.50 to £30+ and are all named after places in London. Another brand is Brisk which is new this year, which have a great range.

Foodie Gifts: The Food Nation gift sets are fantastic this year... I ended up buying the chilli duo, but they had a larger set which I was quite fancying too. Shoreditch Kitchen is a new brand, which brings in chip buckets (copper too!), sizzler pans and salt & pepper mills. Classic favourites like the Hairy Bikers and Jamie Oliver are back too (we already have so much of their gifts across our family) ... you can't beat the Hairy Bikers sauces in jars though!

Candles: Probably the strongest category this year. Brands include Woodwick (my ultimate favourite, Fireside), Yankee Candle and the Royal Horticultural Society. Matched with that is Boots' own brand, with a range of tea lights, festive candles in tins or glass votives in a range of scents ... spiced apple crumble is my favourite.  The Zoella range looked good, although when I went, the shelves were nearly empty with only the seaside scent left!
